A year has passed since Simon’s tragic death and the twisted events of One of Us Is Lying.

Holy sh*t. I completely forgot how talented at writing Karen M. McManus is. I mean… It’s been a few days since I finished this book and my mind is still reeling.

So, what’s this book about?

It’s been a year and a half since Simon died and in spite of the many copycat gossip apps, the Bayview four have moved on with their lives.
Cooper is openly gay and happily in love with his boyfriend, Chris.
Bronwyn and Nick are together (most of

Previously, Bayview High was hit by some terrible gossip by Simon.

He revealed the secrets of four classmates.

This time Simon has come back to Bayview High.

Maeve, Phoebe and Knox are the targets for gossip this time.

Phoebe, the first target, chose truth over dare and now her life has fallen apart with her dearest older-sister Emma.

See, these days people’s behaviour is out of line.

They don’t really think about what is poor behaviour or not.

Sometimes, that will hit you back.

Maeve, Bronwyn’s younger sister.

She does not play Simon’s game.

She just ignores all messages and is very confident that the gossip can’t hurt her.

But when her secret comes up, can she really handle it?

Can she stay confident?

Knox is not really the target but somehow Maeve’s secret hurts him too.

Everybody is talking about him, not Maeve.

He didn’t do anything but this cheeky copycat choose Knox as a scapegoat.

Ok, I can’t say he is completely innocent because that would not be fair.

Some kids choose “Dare” when they play this horrible game in real life.

Do people really want to know the truth? Do people really want to do stupid dares?

It’s no joke, it’s real.

Somebody could die from it.

I find it sickening that people reveal the secrets of other people and cause scandals.

Everybody has secrets, I know I do.

It ain’t over till it’s over.

When you start this book you should read it until the end.

Sometimes, we need to keep a lid on the truth to protect someone we love.

Even if it risks your innocence.

Anywhere, anytime I would confront Simon if this happened to me.

So, how dare you judge other people’s secrets.
